Brenda
Hello Everybody! I've been doing a lot of pastel soaps and I wanted to take a step in another direction with a more vivid coloring. So here's what came out of the mold tonight. I gave them a shower to give them a shine, it seemed appropriate, and here they are drying off. CPOP scented with almond, sweet orange, and a touch of ylang ylang, colored with palm fruit oil, and swirled with cocoa powder and pink oxide.Close up of the swirl.I guess that's a step away from pastel, isn't it? I want to mix the ylang ylang soon too, but haven't decided with what yet. If you need anyone to test that bar for ya

Brenda
Thanks everybody! It's all an experiment still for me when I make a new bar..so much fun. After I cut and bevel the bars, I run each bar through a stream of hot/warm water then set it on a drying rack on end to dry. In the morning I gently rub the bottom end of the bar to smooth out the wire rack lines. I don't have this perfected yet. Brenda
