Guest EMercier
has anyone used hot cocoa in soap? Just right out of the package. I was in the sav a lot to get some olive oil, didn't see the big bottle someone else here was referencing. I picked up cocoa powder, but thought about hot cocoa to try it out and a natural colorant. Just wanted to see if anyone else has used it before.
guppygirl
I haven't tried it myself, but the only thing I'm thinking you may need to watch out for is the sugar causing overheating. It may be a small enough amount that it won't cause any problems. If you do it, be sure to let us all know how it turns out!
Rebecca_IA
Most of what is in the commercial hot cocoa mixes is sugar in one form or another. You might just want to stick with the cocoa powder alone, more control over exactly what is going into your batch. I have used the cocoa powder with no issues at all. Purple Lilac
I have also used cocoa powder with no issues as well.
Meridith
I used cocoa powder once in my soap and it worked well. I wouldn't use the cocoa powder for hot chocolate but would recommend the one for cooking.
