Crafty1_AJ
For those of you who sell lotions, what types of scents sell consistently well for you? I'm not asking for specific fragrance names and manufacturers - lol - just general / broad categories. For example, do designer dupes do well for you? Mints? Citrus scents? Herbals? Woodsy scents? Vanillas? etc. Thanks so much in advance for cluing me in!
iansmommaya
Unscented and lavender sell well, so does Helichrysum. Blue Chamomile which does wonders for the skin and is a beautiful azule color just didnt sell very well. I should blend it with something else.
Crafty1_AJ
I suspected lavender would be a winner. Thanks! And unscented is growing in popularity. One of my best-selling candles on Amazon is unscented.
TallTayl
Lemon verbena, unscented and my Faery are the ones I usually have to make for wholesale most often.

Shari
Lemon Verbena, Vanilla Champagne, Oatmeal, Milk & Honey. Lavender sells fairly well too.
bfroberts
I have only dabbled a tiny bit, but in what I have done, amber was a big hit.
Sarah S
I feel like so much of it has to do with the brand, as I'm sure you know. My crowd loves designer dupes like VS Love Spell and Pink Sugar, as well as ambers and vanillas, but my brand is heavy on the sexy. I'm definitely not marketing toward the natural crowd.
Dreamer
My customers gravitate towards the sweeter scented lotions. It's the exact opposite with perfume, they tend to go for the dark and more complex scents.
Candybee
Lavender, lemon verbena sell great for me. I just went back to basics, as in "classic" type scents; lavender, lemon verbena, cucumber melon. I also have rice flower and shea and apricot freesia but the classics tend to outsell the others or at least sell consistently.
