angelcandles
I thought I found a wick for my 4630 wax (34-40 for my 3 inch tumblers and three 28-24s for my 4 inch tumblers). However, once all the candle is burned down, there is a huge amount of residue on the sides of both tumblers. Is this normal? Should I settle with this wick or should I expect a cleaner burn than this? The first photo is my 3 inch tumbler, the second is my 4 inch tumbler. There is no sooting or other problems with the wick whatsoever.
pughaus
Looks like a nice clean burn and I would not call that a huge amount of residue at all. More like a little cling.
TallTayl
I would call that a huge win.
Laura C
Awesome, they look great to me too, and I second what the others said. You get melts like that without soot and hot jars, those are winners in my book. 👍
kandlekrazy
Perfecto! As long as that glass isn't getting too hot to touch that looks like a great burn.
Sarah S
Agree with all the statements above. Definitely not a huge amount of residue. That looks like a perfect burn to me, if you wick up to try to clean that up, you'll end up with hot glass and a sooty ugly burn.
