KJohnson
wondering what size pillar mold would be the best for a beginner? THANK YOU
Kaybee23
I would start with a 3 x 3 or a 3 x 6 round mold. I don't make them a lot, but I think those are the easiest to start with.
Scented
Probably a 3x3.5 would be easiest lol. But any size you want to start with is always a good size
Candle Man
Yea like the others said. 3" round is the most common size pillar made & sold.

wvcandleguy
I have just started making pillars, and I started out with 3 x 3.75 seamless molds, and also bought some 3 x 9.75 molds, which I cut 2 of them down to 6.5... the 3 x 3.75 molds are really easy to use IMHO. As for wax, I use OK6228. It has worked well for me so far... makes excellent rustic pillars, and cakes really easy too... just thought I would put my 2 cents worth in

Breanna
Hello,,,I bought my kit from www.peakcandles.com they give you more for your money, they send you 10 LBs of wax a 3x6.5 mold, a 4lb pour pot..5 2oz's of FO wick sealer, thermometer and some other things,,,,add these up individually and they cost much more and I love their scents,,,,this is what I started with..it was well worth it,,,JMO
eugenia
I think 3" is the easiest to wick.
