Carrie
I made 2 soaps today. One I posted in the gallery, the other is plain but should be great. I made a 2lb batch of chamomile milk & honey. I used chamomile tea for my lye water and added raw silk, then I added 1tbs of honey to my warm oils, then added goat milk powder to the grapeseed oil and added at light trace. I then covered with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. I looked at it 2 hours later and it is gelling in the middle. I knew milk and honey were hot, but to gel in the fridge after 2 hours. Wowzer. I thought the fridge would make it so it didn't gel.
Janis
I've had soap partially gel in the fridge. That's why I'd rather have my goat's milk soap gel, 'cause I can't stand the partial gel thang! You had a double whammy of honey and goat's milk. It was bound to happen:undecided .
