Papa Bear
Hey all, I'm Papa Bear. This is my first soap batch. It's scented Apricot Medly and has ground apricot seeds in it. Sorry its not a gread picture, but this was taken on the cell phone. I hope this works. My wife posted this first making me sound like I have a DH. I don't!!! Papa Bear
Here it is after I unmolded it. I know the quality of the pic sucks but I was only using my cell camera. That's my teenage female side coming out.I also made (with much assistance from my DW) Patchouli Rose with dried rose buds on top today.PB
michelleB
Oh my goodness...will ya just look at that pretty color and texture!! Love it! Love it, love it, love it! Great job!Edited to add: you posted the cut pics as I was typing this, and I wanted to add how much I really dig the "chunky" look. What's the weight of them bars? They look hefty! Meridith
I finally taught my man how to make soap!! Turns out he's a quick study. I am very impressed with how well his first batch turned out. I let him choose his scent and the additive. I think he did a really good job. He's now good for more than just moving those heavy boxes. Grumpy Girl
I love the color of those. The most I can get out of my geeky DH is a new custom built computer once a year. How much do those suckers weigh? I'm afraid to fill my kelsei that full again, I could have lethal weapons. Very nice job Papa Bear!

ilovejunkandstuff
Oh wow I love that soap. I need to get my husband to make soap. Then I could tell him how much he needs to buy some expensive butters and ... I will try that.

Meridith
I think I am more excited about his making soap than he is. I am so anxious to use it too. I wonder how long I can hold out??? I do know DH will hold out longer than me - he's like that.
