victoriaj
hi is there anyway of getting this affect without the mold, i live in the U.K and there are not many types of candle molds available, Thankyou
sharyl55
Victoria, you can make a pillar and 'grubby' it. Just let the wax to be used for the frosting cool until it starts to skim over. Then beat or whip with a fork or manual egg beater. When the wax gets to the consistency you want just frost your pillar. I tried this once. You don't have much time until the wax gets too hard. But you can heat it again and start the process over. There may be step by step instructions under Techniques & Ideas to the left of this screen.By the way Stephanie, great looking grubby cake.
