the_amber_woods
Is there a difference?
heirloomoriginals
I think the oil is in solid form (like coconut) and the flakes are just in flakes so they are easier to work with.Stephanie
eugenia
The solid form is a PITA!
cindym
The solid form is a PITA! Oh E is so right about that, get the flakes.
sad72
Yep..the flakes are so much easier to work with.
Meridith
I use the solid form because its cheaper and don't mind breaking it up. It does take longer though to get it to melt.
Carrie
For me, the difference in cost is worth not having to break up the PKO.
Meridith
For me, the difference in cost is worth not having to break up the PKO.That's how I feel about BW since its so hard to break up. But I don't think PKO is that hard to break up.
Jeana
I don't think it is very hard to break up either. I would rather save the money. And I have to break up some of my other oils anyway.
Carrie
The difference for me is about $2 for 5 pounds. My time is worth more than the effort it takes and the extra time it takes to melt the chunks. JMO, but to me it's worth the extra $2. the_amber_woods
So if I'm using this in a body scrub... I can sub equal amounts *weight wise* of the flakes for the harder version?
eugenia
Yes
