Carriegsxr6
OMG talk about the most perfect citrus scent. I made a 4lb batch of CP and added 1 tablespoon of Litsea Cubeba and 1 tablespoon of Tangerine Essential oils from MMS and came up with the sweet citrus smell of a lemon drop. yummy. Anyone who loves those citrus smells, must try this combo.

Carriegsxr6
I love using EOs, A little goes a very long way. I have these drying in my bedroom and boy are they strong. I only used a couple of tablespoons of EO for the entire 4lb batch and wow. I also used MMS Yellow Oxide (pigment) for color.

singleyellowrose
That is a really pretty spring-like yellow. Just asking though, did you anchor the citrus EOs? Meaning, did you add them to a bit of clay or something to help hold the scent? Most times with citrus EOs, they smell great for the first couple of months then start to fade away. Carriegsxr6
no i didnt do any anchoring or anything. But usually my soap gets used up within a month or two. So I havent run into the problem yet of it fading.
tonyalc
I'm loving that yellow! I'd love to use one of those soaps first thing in the morning-talk about a great sunny color! Sounds yummy too.

RobinInOR
Litsea cubeba isn't really a citrus, and is an anchor on it's own..Beautiful! Two of my favorite EOs...
