topofmurrayhill
WEDNESDAY 3/8 - LAST DAY TO SUBMIT RATINGSI thought it might be interesting to see if we can survey CT board members' satisfaction with the features of the one-pour container blends. For simplicity I want to limit it to 100% petroleum based products this time around, including J-223, J-225, J-50, Comfort Blend, and Harmony Blend. Don't post your ratings in the thread. Send them to me via PM to keep the individual responses private. I'll tabulate them and post the overall results. Send ratings for any wax you've used or tested enough to have an opinion. You can rate more than one wax if you like. Here are the categories and scoring:Low numbers are bad. High numbers are good.One-Pour Performance: 1 to 5 for flatness of pourScent Throw: 1 to 5 for intensity of stinkGlass Adhesion: 1 to 5 for resistance to wet spotsWicking/Burn: 1 to 5 for ease of wicking and clean burnAppearance: 1 to 5 for coloring and surface finish1 = Poor, 2 = Fair, 3 = Good, 4 = Very Good, 5 = Excellent

topofmurrayhill
Just want to mention, if you use a wax that's specific to a supplier and you want to rate it, go ahead as long as it meets the paraffin-based criterion. Any wax that gets a reasonable number of ratings will be included.
