KMommy
What type of dye/coloring do you use for Lip Balms?
Steph in tx
I'm not sure what lip balm base your using, but I have found that I can only use micas for lip/lotion base from BCN. Start with just a little in melted base, and stir really well, then pour in containers.Stephanie
Carrie
I use the lip balm coloring from MMS, what kind do you use?

KMommy
Thanks everyone. I have some mica that I can experiment with and I am also planning an order with MMS for some other supplies so I'll check out the colorings. Thanks again! Jeana
Do you put enough in them so it will color your lips?
KMommy
Maybe others do but I simply want them to be more visually appealing as a lip balm and not used as a lipstick for color. I find that when using a container that is clear or has a clear top people tend to be more attracted to color than if I leave them natural. Especially if they are in the type of containers that have a clear top and seperate compartments for more than one balm.
donna4909
I haven't gotten them in yet, but I'm going to try some of these from WSP. Mica is just to expensive & messy for me. :undecided http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Product.aspx?Tab=1&CatalogID=2&GroupID=579&CatalogTitle=0&CategoryID=763&CategoryName=Dyes+for+Oils
