Is it possible to maybe make a coffee lotion or scrub using infused oil & running distilled water through your coffee maker (and of course boiling until appropriate, holding temp to kill everything yada yada yada)I would assume you could, but has anyone tried? beaglady Posted March 7, 2006 Share Posted March 7, 2006 I recently infused ground expresso in oil to use in lip balm.I wouldn't run the oil through the coffeemaker - sounds like a cleanup nightmare. I just warmed the oil in a pyrex dish with the grounds in it and let it stand overnight, then strained through a coffee filter.
