mysticglow
This is the first batch of soap in my new Kelsie mold.It got too thick on me before I could get the swirls done so they don't look anything like I had planned. But it smells sooo good.

lindsaycb
I have a question on these molds.....Do you put the dividers in after you pour? I can't imagine that you swirl each individual bar. Right? :undecided

Right? :undecidedYes, the dividers just slide in after you've done your swirl thing
lindsaycb
So you must pour at a very thin trace, right? What if a fragrances is beginning to accelerate it...is there times you just can't push them in fast enough..? The dividers that is.

Meridith
Very pretty! I just love my Kelsie and have on Wish List the 18 bar one. To get my bars out, I just push them thru or have DH do it. He started to learn about soaping, made two batches and since then hasn't shown much more of an interest but I still have him do the hard work!! Meridith
Oops edited because I some how double posted. Don't know how I did that. Sorry.
Sherie
Yep, I'm on friendly terms with my Kelsei as well. Especially, now that it's seasoned as Eugenia mentioned. Hey Julia, thanks for the mylar tip for the Kelsei!!!!! I'm gonna try that one for sure.
mysticglow
Thinking I need a mylar liner too cause my soaps were a pain to get off the bottom of the mold. And it really takes some muscle to pull those dividers out. Looking forward to the time when mine will be seasoned. Soap is scented Purely Herbal. I love that FO. Meridith
You can also use saran wrap on the bottom. It can be used a couple times before you will need to throw it out and use a new piece. It works great and is a cheap and easy fix until you can get some mylar.
