valerie6
Hi,Well i have had to switch waxes again I'm using 4630 not sure what i think. I was wondering what everyone elses favorite wax was. Thanks,Valerie
Michi
I love my 4630. this was the first wax I tried and I kind of had smoking issues, so I went on to test about 6 other types, and came back to the 4630. LOLIt just seems that this wax is a little pickier about wicks, you gotta find just the right ones so it won't smoke. I have NO smoking issues in any of my scents that I've tested so far. (about 20). Grumpy Girl
I like my 4630 too. I gave up the 4627 due to wicking issues and just dreading having to break apart each bag into managable sections. It wasn't hard, but I still didn't look forward to it.So far, I've been able to retest most of the FO's I plan on using and suprisingly, I haven't had to adjust many wicks from the original 4627 testing. AngelaVA
My fav is J50. I tested 4630, 4627, J223 and J300. J50 was by far the best choice for me. It's easy to wick, has an awesome throw and none of the smoking issues that 4630 gave me. I would highly recommend it.

jenniejr
J223 is my fav!
sudsnwicks
4630 is on my list to try. Most of my experience is with 4786, which I like. If you don't mind not having a one-pour, this is easy to work with and well behaved.
von691
I like J-50 for containers and Astro V for tarts and votives and have not had any issues with either
Firehouse
I like the 4630. Wicking is a bit of a test though.
Steph in tx
I would have to say IGI 2281 (formerly 941). I've used this wax for almost 6yrs and absolutely love it! It's no one pour, but I know exactly how to wick, color and how much fo it will hold. Has great cold and hot throw, too!JMO Steph in txwww.ezwicksys.com
gingerinarkansas
I've only used the J223 for containers and Astorlite V for votives. I'm needing some container wax. Would the J50 be a better choice. Can I still use the same wicks I do now? On some of my jars that are shorter than they are tall, I will use three wicks(maybe a pc4-that burns cooler plus I have a lot of those left from a previous screw up I did.) It gives me a good overall burn and on the taller ones, I usually use a zinc wick. Ginger
