Ms_Magnolia
I know I don't have very many posts, but I want to thank everyone for the suggestion to let your candles cool in your oven. I am using 6006 with 9 oz hex jars and have had major sink holes with them. I have started placing them in my pre-warmed oven and letting them cool. I now have smooth even tops that I don't have to fuss too much with. So much easier and less labor intensive than my old way of cooling on counter top and having to blast them with my heat gun. AngelaVA
Glad we can help! Cooling in the oven is a must for me in the winter. You may find that it's not as necessary in the summer, so be sure to keep experimenting.
Grannyscandles
And be sure to test burn as there may still be air pockets you can't see.
