islandgirl
I was checking out Candle wic custom made wicks ..I have a few questions for the wick Masters.I use soy wax.. So......What size sustainer base would you suggest that I need for container candles, 15 or 20 mm.What type of coating should I use? Standard or beeswax.I normally just order them and never paid attention to the make up.. Any info would help..TIA
Sharon in KY
I don't think it matters. I just ordered and I like the 20mm base with the 3mm neck. That's a base about the size of a nickle and the short neck. I get the beeswax coating, just cause, sounds natural but really it's such a small amount it shouldn't change anything. Crafty1_AJ
15mm base for votive size candles. 20mm for jar candles unless jar has a very small diameter. I tried the smaller size in jars and it just wasn't wide enough to be very stable.
