Stephanie
Is there anyway to convert ounces to mL? I tried an online conversion calculator but it wouldn't work. I'm trying to make (finally!) lip balms. I just want to start with very small batches at a time. I have a base and just need to add the flavor oils at 1 to 3%. I've figured I'd start at 2% which is .06 oz of oil per ounce of base, but it's so light it won't show up on my scale. Any tips? Or is it impossible to make such a small batch? jazzbo848
are the oz. you are using WEIGHED oz. or MEASURED oz. (volume)?mL is a volume measurement.it is very difficult to convert weight to volume (except for water).i used this chart:http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_common.htmand put in .06 oz. and converted it to grams (it came out like1.7 grams)does that help?cheryl
gloworm
There are 30 ml (or cc's) in an ounce. 2 Tablespoons in an ounce. Three teaspoons in a Tablespoon. There are 6 teaspoons in an ounce. 15 ml's in a tablespoons. There are 5 ml's in a teaspoon.Did I help or confuse?:smiley2: LMK If I can help anymore. I'm lousy at % though. Sometimes the small amounts in ml's I measure using a medicine cup like the ones with kids cough meds. The lines are sometimes in teaspoons or ml's.Glo
