dillypooh
Now that Eugenia has so thoughtfully posted her kitchen soap I am now wondering about Gardeners soap. Is there an ingredient that is needed for this soap or just your ordinary recipe. I read something about tomato juice but cant remember which one it was for:tiptoe: Anyone help my "no working' brain? heirloomoriginals
I have heard of several types of garden soap. One had cornmeal and citrus EO's in it and I also have a recipe for sun dried tomatoes and basil (I think). I will dig it out later and post it.Steph
jwahlton
I use my regular recipe and add poppy seeds, cornmeal, and any other scrubbies I feel like! I use Raspberry Tomotoe Leaf as the FO.
cindym
I also use my regular recipe, I use Carrot FO and add ground apricot kernel, cornmeal, and Lav buds on top.
Crafty1_AJ
As Steph mentioned, I do the citrus eo blend in mine and add cornmeal for "grit" to make it extra scrubby.

maryann
This is another one I'd like to do eventually.... anybody use Fuller's Earth Clay?? I've read that's good for dirt and grease, that its got lots of cleaning power - is this true?? Its sounds like it would be another good ingredient for the gardener's soap.BTW, what benefit does tomato juice bring to the table (or sink) ?? I think I've read that before (tomatoe juice in gardener's soap) but can't remember the benefit or if even there was an explaination. heirloomoriginals
Not sure if there is a benefit from the tomato juice, but I think I read somewhere that it adds a nice peach color!! Maybe using it also adds the the garden appeal???Steph
