lindsaycb
Those are awesome! Are they heavy duty plastic too, so they'll last quite some time?
heirloomoriginals
Those all look awesome! I will have to look for one of those molds today. Lining definitely isn't my favorite thing!Steph
von691
very pretty soaps. Love the colors.
donna4909
They look great as usual! It's a shame the pink turned to purple, but it's still awesome.
Jennster
These are amazing! I like the purple even better! Curious, how much percentage of your batch do you set aside to swirl? I'm about to start attemping swirls
Grumpy Girl
It depends, generally I'll hold back 2 cups of a 3lb batch for a single color swirl, or 1.5 cups if I'm doing two colors, or less for three. I don't measure it out exact, just whatever looks right to me. I guess I've spent too many years cooking.
heirloomoriginals
My walmart has some. I am planning on picking one up next pay day. THe small sections look about the size that I use for my test batches right now.Steph
Christy Doc Holley
marvalous! is it a SS mold ?
Grumpy Girl
Nope, its heavy black plastic. And make SURE you spray it down heavily with Pam. If you don't, you're in for some fun.
katy
You are great at the swirls. They look good.
Carol M
Nice, Grumpy! Bet they smell divine, too. I would never have guessed that mold is plastic; the glare from the lights in the first post looks like shiny metal. I would have gone to WM and passed over those entirely, thinking I was looking for a metal organizer.
aimeec324
very nice swirls!! All of those soaps look great and who would of thought a drawer organizer. I will be looking at walmart next time I visit!!!
