dillypooh
Darn it I was in a hurry today trying to get my soap made before a severe storm came over and I left out one of the ingredients. Already put it in oven @170 to gel before I realized it. Of course I cp'd it. Now what do I do? Shred it down, add the oil and HP it? I only did HP one time and it wasnt a pretty site. Oh please help.
Crafty1_AJ
If you post your original recipe, and then tell us what item you left out, we might be able to help you better.
dillypooh
Thanks AJ this was a batch I was testing with safflower oil. Wanted to see how soft it would be because I heard this oil makes your soap softer.Lard 50%Coconut Oil 15%Cocoa Butter 7%Safflower 28%Lye 4.44Water 8.881TBS Sugar

dillypooh
Sorry AJ I went back and edited it because I realized I left it out but guess I clicked something wrong. My safflower oil.
Bunny
Be careful shredding it.. Wear gloves. It's a very lye heavy batch and it'll hurt. If it was a smaller percentage, I'd rebatch. But being this large of an amount, I would personally toss it and try again. Lye heavy soap hurts!
