moonrose64
I made this for my parents 50th...Keep the flowers or ditch? I really need ideas on decorating it.I want this to look good for them.It is a huge 6x6 so I need some help here. lolTheir Anniversary is Sept. 11th, so fall theme would be good.None of us kids know what colors they had for wedding. My Gram can't even remember. All the pics back then were blk&white so I don't even know color of her dress.Shown are both sides of it. Wedding day and present.Should add, this candle will never be burned. So flowers or decorations do not matter. My mom will keep this sucker for another 50 yrs. lol

That's alot for my brothers to say. heheNow I hope everyone can stand the scent of it while we are all eating. lolMaybe the restaurant will throw me out for my stinky candles I brought. lolI played around and made my own scent. Georgia
It is beautiful! Love the flowers. The only thing I would say is a mirror backdrop so you can see both sides. Wonderful idea and your parents will love it!

Mtngrl
Dang! I just LOVE that astrolite wax. That is soooooo pretty! Never would have thought a yellow would go so well w/ a b/w image. Nicely done!!! Keep the flowers. They tie in nicely w/ your yellow.Ditto the glass. Just a thought though ... if you could have two pieces of angled glass, then that way, the back would be viewable from multiple sides. If it was just a piece of straight glass parallel to the candle, then you'd only get the flame bouncing back into the room. It's like when you have your back to the bathroom mirror and you're holding a mirror in your hand to see the back of your head/hairdo, you'll notice that you hold it an angle to see. Otherwise, you'd just see your face. lol.
