Tara
I think...Just made a batch of OM&H soap and not sure if I sure cover it or not. I know the honey makes it heat up. It's a log mold with a lid.
Purple Lilac
I don't cover any of my soap, just my preference. Honey being know to "heat"soap up, I would tend not to cover butthat is just my opinion
Tara
Thanks for answering so quickly...I will keep the lid off this one then. Thanks again.
guppygirl
You could even stick it in the fridge if it looks like it's gonna overheat... honest, it's ok! My last batch was a 3# log that went in the fridge and still gelled!
Carrie
My chamomile, milk & honey went right into the fridge in the log and still did a partial gel. Funny looking bars with only partial gel.

I did put in the fridge I just left it on the countertop with uncovered and our house temp was about 72 degrees. This morning it looks like maybe some ash formed but other than that it looks ok. In that case I'll throw it in the fridge. I've only had one batch try to get out of control on me and that was a milk batch.
