snow
I have 5 new molds coming today, what is the best way to clean them and keep them in good shape? I did the oven thing with my old mold and it didn't seem to come out as nice as I'd like it to, of course it was an older one. Did someone say to use WD40? A friend of mine ordered like 8 photo canes and I want them to be perfect! I made a few in my old mold and it had scratches, so I bought 5 new ones. Thanks to Donita I did learn how to make them, thanks again girl! Has anyone seen her around lately? i tried a small heart mold photo cane and everyone loved it! I was kinda' proud of myself Thanks for all your help, you ppl are great and I'm learning so much here. Have a great day!
eugenia
Don't ever wash them. I do the oven thing, at 175 and wipe with paper towels. This is one instance where the cheap towels just do not cut it; go for the good ones!

Crafty1_AJ
I take my metal candle molds outside and pour boiling water on them, then wipe immediately with clean paper towels. Shiny clean! But you have to use oven mitts or potholders to handle the molds since they get very hot.
