dixiegal
My local super walmart really bites! I cant find half the cool stuff ya'll find at yours, same with sams. Is there any reason non fat dry milk couldnt be used in place of dry whole milk? Does the whole milk make skin softer or do something else better than the non fat kind? Scented
I've used the non-fat dry kind and found it to be soothing, so I wouldn't see it being that ... unless it's because whole milk is fattier. But the non-fat has been working fine for us.
diamondk
The non fat dry milk is all I can find and it works great for me. HTH
singleyellowrose
You have less chance of beasties with the non fat as opposed to the mik powders with fat. That said.... I have noticed that if your label says Goat Milk, people are more apt to buy it than one that just says milk.

pj'snana
Some time back I read a discussion of this on another board. The general thought was the whole fat milk was good to use in soap, the non-fat was good for other things such as bath bombs, melts, bath milks, etc. I can get the whole milk powder at wal-mart( they just went up on the price), but am considering using the non-fat for my b&b and save the whole milk powder for soap. Seems the whole milk is used in soap for the fat content and the non-fat in bb&b for the protein. I am certainly not an expert on that! Just repeating what I heard elsewhere!:smiley2:Dorothy
