Grumpy Girl Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 I had something very similar happen to me once when I grabbed the stearic instead of PKO... it was an instant soap block before I could even finish pouring the lye into the bucket. Meridith Posted July 14, 2006 Author Share Posted July 14, 2006 I didn't realize right away that I had mistakenly grabbed the e-wax and not the PKO flakes. So thinking "rebatch", I threw it in a bucket to deal with the next day. I was so disgusted and confused as what had happened. It wasn't until a few hours later and lots of thinking about it that I figured out what I did. I was mad at first because it's such a stupid mistake. I still have the "soap" and need to take a picture of it with the correct batch next to it. The e-wax soap is very smooth and soft but I wasn't able to get the FO incorporated all the way.
