TeriM
okay folks.. since I got in on the butter co-op... need some ideas for my butters.. I just do soap right now and have found one recipe for the Mango butter.. or should I just add to the recipe that I use.... Carriegsxr6
just add it to the recipe you already use. Add it at trace. I usually add a couple ounces at trace for a 4lb batch.
CareBear
So if you add oils at trace do you use them in your lye calculation?
Carrie
So if you add oils at trace do you use them in your lye calculation? You can. Some add them at trace, hoping that less of that ingredient will saponify and add more of it's "raw" qualities to the soap.

Mnhorsemom
Go to the pvsoap.com website. They have a recipe there for s shea/mango cp soap that I have done several times. It's a nice soap, hard bar and good lather.
