slyfoxy46628
Hi all! I am wondering if I can get some answers from you knowledgeable folks. What kind of sugar do you all use for sugar scrubs? I've read different things and I wanted to know for sure what was right. Thanks for any help you might be!Sheryl
Meridith
I use turbinado, regular white sugar and brown sugars in my sugar scrubs.
slyfoxy46628
Thank you very much! Is there any special place you get it? I found it for $1.73 for 2.5 lbs. Is that a good price?
jwahlton
Same as Meredith and just get it at the grocery store
Carrie
I use plain white sugar and Sanding Sugar, sometimes called crystalized sugar. It is used in baking and I get it at Safeway. I go to the bakery and ask to buy it there. They sell it to me by the pound. It is similar to turbinado but clear instead of brownish. eugenia
Regular white here. I got the sugar in the raw and it was too scrubby for my tastes.
