eugenia
Forgot to add that a 2 pounder is a good place to start. I get 8 bars from a batch at 1.25 inches. You'd get 10 at 1".
VerticallyEnhanced
I just got one off of ebay that is really nice and the price was perfect. The seller's name is gabriellesshoppe. Of course my husband saw it and said "I could have made you one of those!" Yes, he could have...the question was WHEN he would have made it. mystical_angel1219
It's all personal prefence, really. The pegged molds make it easier to release your soap. I usually get unstained if there is an option. I can stain my own. Plus, it's a just soap mold to me, not something everyone is going to see. Carrie
I got mine unstained. I've done a pretty good job of staining the corners where my soap leaks sometimes...LOLI have the one that is pegged and hinged.
