woolfswickery
If you use the square mason do you use zinc lids? Where do you get them from. I have been pricing some and was wondering if any of you use the smaller lids like the golds ones for jelly jars....
AngelaVA
Fillmore Container carries many different kinds of lids for a great price. I get my square mason jars from them as well. www.fillmorecontainer.com BC also carries zinc lids, I believe, as does Candles and Supplies. But Fillmore would definitely be my first choice. Darwin
I (most of the time) get the jars and different "color" lids here:http://shop.candlesandsupplies.com/candles/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=Candles&category%5Fname=Ball%2FMason+Jars&product%5Fid=MJ%2D8I like the black ones the best, but they seem to be sold out alot when I try to order them. TVG Glass is the manufacture so if you buy direct from them you cut out the middle mans high price. They only have a case min. quanity.TVG Glass also has some great new items they sent me samples of, but they don't have them on their web site. I'll see if I can get some pictures of the new items taken this weekend to post.there web is http://www.tvgglass.com/

That would be why it says Richards on the jar.
Candle Man
I thought Richards Packaging was the manufacturer of square masons? That would be why it says Richards on the jar. This post is about the zinc lids Not the square masson, so that is what I answered.TVG Glass only has a limited selection of glass they make 5, 10, 16 & 26oz (thick & heavy) Clear & Frosted Apothecary Jars, Flower Pot Votives and a few others with many different styles of glass & metal lids. They don't make the square masson.
Carrie
Except that you quoted Darwin and her link to square masons and said that TVG sold GLASS and lids to C&S. Then said they were the manufacturer. Maybe you should make yourself more clear next time.
