stacien
Does anyone know the shelf life on these fragrances. I only use Peaks, BCN, Millcreek and Just Scents. I have a lot of summer samples and I really don't want to get rid of them. They are mostly all florals and fruits. Would it be better if I made them into candles and store them? Scented
Storage in a cool dark place. They should last at least a year and longer, but there's no definitive answer as to how long an FO is going to last. I've had some hold on for almost 9 years and others peter out in three or less. carol k
can't vouch for bcn or peak's but some of mc's i've had a couple of years and they are still great.
CareBear
scent works says the shelf life is 1 year from ship date, stored in a cool dry place. You probably have 2 years if properly stored = depends a bit on the fragrance. Amber glass is best!

AngelaVA
I have oils that are over a year old and they all smell great and throw well. I store mine in a cool dark cabinet and have never had a problem with one going bad on me.
Sally
Thanks to all for this info. As I've said before I'm new to using fragrance in my candles & want to try out lots of different fragrances throughout the years without limiting myself to those more suited to the coming season. All I need now is a bigger store cupboard & lots more hours in my days!Sally. Candlewitch
Of the hundred or so that i have had, only a caramel went rancid and it was in a clear type bottle. You do not know how long your supplier had it either. It was not premium oil either. I had maples that smelled better then it so i was glad to throw it out....
