RobinInOR Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 Carol is correct - ewax isn't wax If you are doing a cream that is more oil than water, an emulsification can be made with a combination of feeswax/borax, but it wouldn't give you a stable emulsification if you were doing lotions or anything with more water than oil.If the recipe is an emulsified scrub that doesn't have water but does have ewax, you might be able to use beeswax/borax, but you'd have to experiment on the correct ratios to have it emulsify with your shower water properly.. I get my ewax at MMS.YES, I can attest to that!! I get mine from MMS and never had any problems. Then I bought some from a supplier for a really good price that was going out of business and it changed the outcome of my products totally - and it wasn't for the better.
