idahospud
What size and shape is everyone making their shampoo bars? Wanting to make a batch of these up, but not sure what size would be good for them, especially when you are using them as a shampoo. I was thinking maybe rounds would be nice. Meridith
I make mine round and they weigh 3.5 oz. You can do whatever shape and size you want. It's all up to you and what you like.
michelleB
Ooooh, round would be awesome! I just started playing with these too, but I made mine just like my soap bars. Only thing is...now you can't tell em apart in the shower! LOL. So yep, a different size/shape is a great idea! (although technically they could be used for everything like a reg soap, so I guess it doesn't matter too much).
idahospud
Well that is what I was thinking, the rounds would be nice, but if you were taking these on airline flights, I don't think I have ever seen a round soap box to store them in. I know they make the regular plastic soap travel boxes.

I also make my shaving soap refills round too.

lindsaycb
I'd like them in a container to take with you. Possible a size mold that fits in the flat seamless tins or the rectangular size tins. I wouldn't go for a huge size though, more of a 1-2oz size so people can test it & see if they really like it.
CareBear
I've had shampoo bars from Lu$h, and thought it was a magnificent thing. They were a disk shape and came (since I bought 2) with a soap dish with a lid. Problem is it didn't drain so when I put the bar away wet I ended up with a shampoo mush... You can only put them into the tin and close the lid when they are DRY.
