CareBear
I got some gorgeous log molds off the classy's - with mylar linings. Thing is, those mylar linings look a lot like the transparencies we use at work. Are they the same material, does anyone know?
RobinInOR
I think they're a bit different, but I use transparencies from work and they work just fine.
Kaybee23
The mylar seems to be a little heavier than the transparencies.

CareBear
The mylar is AMAZING!!!!! I made a batch with honey last night, more to play with my new mold, and the mylar liner is great! Didn't leak and left the side of the log smooth as glass! Didn't stick a bit!

Scent Cellar
Look in the area that has sewing or quilting items.
gloworm
I found an old box of transparencies at work and have been using them in my Martha molds with great results. I don't even line the short ends. Just fold to cover long sides & bottom. Short sides loosen right up.Glo
Scented
Befriend the CT/SWS Pimptress ... j/k! But that's where I got my liners. I've still gotta try that mylar.
heirloomoriginals
This is what I will be ordering this week:http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?CATID=168303&PRODID=136442Steph
Kaybee23
Our Joanns sells it as quilting mylar, which is what I use. But I understand the transparencies work just as well. If you just have to have the mylar, Joanns has a website that you can order it on.

That is what I use for my 2lb mold...but for my 4lb I use the mylar because the sheet is bigger. For those of you having trouble finding Mylar at Joanns.....ask the for Quilting Mylar.
