Trae
I was searching for XMas mugs for my hot cocoa candles and came across these color-changing mugs:http://www.niftycoolgifts.com/color-changing-mugs/Do you think these would actually change color as the candle burns down or wouldn't the mug get hot enough? Thought it'd be a cool idea.
Vicky_CO
I am thinking it would only partially change but if you try it let us know how it works out.
Braveheart
Ditto on the partially changing. A woman at work has a color changing coffee mug & it only effected the area where the liquid was. Once the candle got low enough in the container I'm sure it would have enough heat generated from the wax & flame to change it. But in the beginning you would just be relying on the melt pool. Trae
That's what I figured but I also thought it would encourage people to actually burn the candle instead of using it for decoration. That way once the wax gets low, they'll see what the design turns into. I might buy a set and give it a try. Could always use them as gifts otherwise. Demenshia
You could also make them wickless candles to be used on a candle warmer...It might help. I know my jars get warm to the touch when I put them on one. Just a thought
