Ring of Fire
Modge podge the inside several times and it will be fine.
Accents
I'd be a little nervous about paint on the inside...
Candle Man
Yep, I second the Mod Podge on the inside, works great to seal.
ILVCANDLES
Thanks for the replies..Just to confirm as long as I mod podge the inside a few times over the paint this will not be a fire hazzard? Thanks!

Some paints are a fire hazzard only in their liquid state.
ILVCANDLES
Candle Man that makes sense. Thank you! I am curious when burning a candle in a terra cotta pot, will the paint/mod podge produce a chemical smell when the wax becomes a liquid? Thanks!:smiley2:

The wax is cooler than the flame so that would not effect the sealer. Now if the flame got to close for to long then that might cause a problem.
