thecandlespastore
Does anyone have a good source for Palm wax? I have foun quite a few but wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations as far as customer service, pricing, etc. Thanks!
Scent Cellar
I love the feathering palm wax from BCN. It is really easy to work with and no problems at all getting the pillars out of the molds. I have worked with other palm wax but had troubles with them.
Candle Man
Do you like this wax? I love the look but, I found it was to hard & brittle also hard to wick and IMO not very good on throw.
SheilaW
I get all my palm from Candlewic. Sign up for the newsletter because they have it on sale pretty often and it's already the cheapest I have found. Candleman, I love this wax. aroma of the light
palm + coconut oil from millcreekHow do you use coconut oil, if you don't mind sharing with me. I have very cheap coconut oil source right next to my house but every time I tried to use it, I messed it up.
silverm00n
I don't know how they add it, but I guess it already comes in the wax. I got it from millcreek, it says palm and coconut oil wax, so I tried it and it was actually the very first pillar candle of mine that came out perfectly! Give it a try I only ordered 2lbs of it as a sample, and I will definately be getting some more.

thecandlespastore
I might have to try the millcreek, and I will definitely look in the other company recommendations too.Another question, what do you prefer or like better? Soy wax or Palm wax? Any good recs for Soy?
silverm00n
I just finished my first few soy jar candles and I absolutely love the stuff. I don't know if you make jars too or only pillars, but soy and golden blend 444 from millcreek is wonderful in jars. The look is creamy and it sets up with no bubbles or wetspots. For pillars so far I love the palm coconut. I'll have to try soy pillars next. HTH

Lumina
Candlewic is a very good company to buy from also Millcreek. I just ordered some of the palm/coconut to try. I'll post a picture when I make the first one. I would love to see other pictures to see how everyone is doing with this wax. Not sure how to wick it yet, I'll have to make a few pratice candles.Cindy
