Budgie
I've mad about 5 batches of bath bombs so far and I keep running across the same problem. When I set them up to dry, they keep getting dents on the bottom. Each batch I've made, I've used less and less liquid hoping to fix the problem. Right now I'm using 96% Dry (Baking Soda & Citric and sometimes sea salts) and 4% Liquid (Oils & FO - no water) ingredients. I am at a complete loss. Can anyone help as to what I may be doing wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Budgie:smiley2:
KristinesShower
You need some water to make the baking soda/citric acid reaction. They are just getting moist and blobbing instead of reacting and solidifying. Try that - just a little bit at a time.
Budgie
I'll give it a try. Thanks.
KristinesShower
Did it help you?
Budgie
Actually, I didn't get a chance to try it out yet. I've been a bit busy making candles for a home party on Mon. I probably won't get a chance to try it out until Mon or Tues. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again for the tip.Budgie
