mizbizzyb
I know this may be a stupid question but figured you would know.Testing wicks...same jar, same FO, same batch of wax.I just finished testing LX 14 and 16 and Premier 730 and 735The LX 14 left less hang up than the 16 and the 730 left less hang up than the 735.If I had to choose between the 4 wicks, it is a toss up between the 730 and LX 14 due no hang up left. Wouldn't you think the bigger wicks would burn hotter and leave less hangup?Confused..Thanks,Stinger Butt
eugenia
The hotter wicks are burning too deep, leaving the hang-up.
snow
that makes a lot of sense, I couoldn't understand that either in testing wicks, so the higher the # the hotter it burns? And if you still get hang up you could have to wick down? Is this correct?

eugenia
that makes a lot of sense, I couoldn't understand that either in testing wicks, so the higher the # the hotter it burns? And if you still get hang up you could have to wick down? Is this correct? The higher burns hotter, as for the wicking, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Clear as mud, LOL? You can get hangup if it's too small as well. That's the reason for the endless testing.
