Henryk
I was looking at the brush cleaners at a craft store here - think it was called "oderless brush cleaner" - and noticed it said "contains Naphtha" - which is lighter fluid. Well, is that all this stuff is? Because I thought it would be "mineral spirirts" which is supposed to be LESS flamable than Naptha. I decided not to buy it until I was sure what the stuff was since it was 8.00 per 16oz.I usually just use a heat gun and towels to clean - but I have some corrugated and star molds and that is not going to work.TIA
Tallbabydoll
You can use a heat gun and turn it upside down to get the build up off, if there is any. I've heard that mineral spirits works. But I know that fo will work if u have any that you dont like and dont mind using that way.
topofmurrayhill
That doesn't sound like the best thing to buy. Go to the art supply store and get odorless mineral spirits. As far as I know so far, that's the safest petroleum solvent you can use. It's less strong than the smelly and more dangerous stuff but still very effective. Here's a Wikipedia article about it. The brand pictured in the article is the one I use. If you don't have a handy art supply nearby, you can get it online from Flax, Blick and places like that.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mineral_spirits
