Country Crafter
You can use any acrylic paint, (we find the better brands adhere slightly better,) mixed 50/50 with candle painting medium which is available at most craft stores. If at all possible paint with wax, the finished look will last longer and look better in my opinion. Fragrances can also play a number on painted wax embeds, some colours more than others.HThWendy
Angie W
Thanks for the advise but what do you mean paint with wax?
Vicky_CO
There is actually a liquid wax paint on the market I have a set and it works pretty well. But you can also take a bit of wax and dye and keep it hot while painting with it, this method I was never really fond of it never looks right to me when I do it, but I have seen stuff that others have done that looks fabulous.
