scentlady
So I want to make a hurricane for a friend. I wanted to do a square one with picture or design on each side. Will this be possible or do you have to work so fast that I won't have time before the sides start to harden. I have never made a hurricane before so I'll have to practice but i want to make sure this project is possible.
gingerinarkansas
I've not done this before but did you read all the info on techniques and ideas here on the forum? It's on the left side of the screen as I type. I think there are several people who do this so hopefully they can tell you more. Good luck. Aspencreek
It is very possible. Just make sure that you have everything ready when you pour the wax into the mold. Press all of your pictures to the side and get the air out then put into the water bath. Good luck and make sure to post a picture when you are done. SaraScribbles
Hey Scentlady ~ It's completely possible to do a four-sided one. I did one as my very first Hurricane attempt. Here it is...You do have to move fast, but if the sides start to cool before you're done, zap them with the heat gun.Pm me if I can help any!Sara
Sharon in KY
Hey Sara, when you use a picture, do you print it out on regular paper? Just wondered if certain papers are better to see through. Hey Scentlady ~ It's completely possible to do a four-sided one. I did one as my very first Hurricane attempt.
