pamperme
..do any of you who sell MP soap package them nakid? with just a band around them or raffia and hang tag or something like that. I was thinking of doing that but wondering how banged up they would get?
soapermom
they do dent a good bit nekkid. I don't like plastic, its too humid here and they always sweat in plastic, shrink wrap isnt so bad, I use it sometimes, I mostly use cardboard soap boxes. pamperme
Thanks..was looking at the soap boxes..but was thinking of doing a cut and charge by oz thing at my booth...if they want to big a chunk though..it would not fit in the boxes :undecided ..so I was considering tying a raffia around it and hang tag. Michi
IF you do that (charge by the oz.) make sure you have a minimum b/c if they only buy one ounce, how the heck could you actually slice that without it falling apart, bending, smooshing, etc??Even a 2oz. slice would seem too thin IMO.I package mine in poly bags and then tie them with either ribbon or twine depending on the look/scent of the soap. I also shrink wrap some.I would think those waxed paper bags (for food items) would be good for what you're thinking of doing at your shows/shop.
