Carriegsxr6
I had high hopes for this soap. Blended some Lavender EO with some Tangerine EO and decided to add a few orange crayola crayon bits to make it look like orange peel (saw on Millers site that they color with crayola crayons so thought I would try it out to see if it was safe). I got it all mixed together and turned around to pour into my mold…. YIKES I forgot to line my mold. I had to think fast, I grabbed an empty Pringles can and quickly wiped it down, grabbed a square of freezer paper and put it. Poured it and went to bed. Woke up this morning and began cutting....the inner core was firm yet the outer part was still very soft, and now I got this ugly discolored ring. I am going to have to let this one cure for longer than I usually do. boooo

SoapInTheCity
It does look pretty! Does it stay that way? If I didn't know any better I would just think it was meant to look that way!

SuzieE
Sorry I don't know much about the gel/non gel stuff. But I just had to say that I am glad I read about the crayon bits, cuz' I was just wondering if that was what DOS looked like. LOL
