tartnflight
Hello, I hope I'm posting in the right area. If not, I apologize. I'm very new to making tarts. I've come across a few scents that might last two days. Is it something I'm doing? Or am I just not choosing the right scents? And how long do you let your tarts set before you test them? I thought I read somewhere, about 2 days???~tartnflight~
Carriegsxr6
yeah you may need to cure them longer. it all depends hot hot they are getting too. I know tart burner I use gets real hot from the tealight and the scent only lasts a day.
Fern
I wait a day before burning mine. Sometimes you'll get a scent that can be burned for a couple of days...it all depends on the strength of the scent. I've got this scent called Sage and Sweet Grass that I can burn for a couple of days...along with a few others, but not a whole lot of them. TartAddict
I agree with the previous posters. Some scents just last longer than others. I've had the best luck with Peaks scents. JS scents would start out super strong, but fade within hours. I'd suggest just testing scents and see what works for you D
tartnflight
Thanks for all the tips. I'll just keep on testing! I've got some stronger scents from KY and I'll give those a try. Thanks again! Have a great day!~tartnflight~
Fern
Oh yeah...KY's got some nice strong scents. Their Summer Breeze and Raspberry Blossom will last a long time too...that's also where I got the Sage and Sweet Grass.

Jane42
JS scents would start out super strong, but fade within hours. DWell, I'm not losing my mind...LOLWe had noticed the same thing with the JS scents we just purchased. Maybe it is our wax (4794), but we have been disappointed at how quickly the scent disappears.
