Carrie
I was making some sugar scrub this weekend and you'll never guess what I saw...I am so sad (so is my bank account)I saw the bottom of my shea bucket. My 20lbs of unrefined AK shea is almost gone. I think I'm gonna have to do another coop and get some more.I'm so very sad.
Meridith
I just asked Shutter if she had a AK Shea butter coop in mine any time in the near future and she was mean and said "No." LOL I had to break down and order from AK directly. I can feel your pain.

sudsy
Who is AK?
Carrie
AK is Agbanga Karite. I am only one state away from them and the shipping is good. I did notice on the site today that the prices went up. I sent off an email to AK this morning asking about availability of the shea. I figure I'll coop a max of 200lbs. I'm waiting on an answer before I start the coop. I think the price will be just over $4/lb including shipping to me. I also asked them to figure the hundred weight shipping so it may come out even cheaper. We'll see.
