julie c
I've seen these sold on ebay. Are they rolling like a snowball as the soap cools????Sounds like an all day project. I like round soap but not sure I want to go through all that trouble if that's they way it's done!! I like to pour and forget it about for awhile!!! Thanks Julie
mountainmadness
Do you mean round or soap balls?Round is achieved from using a PVC pipe in the size that you choose.Soap balls are soap that is rolled into a ball.
Carriegsxr6
You can actually achieve the rounded balls by demolding your soap when its still very soft and then start rolling it into a ball.
CareBear
I've seen some that are obviously poured into round molds - they are just too perfect to be balled by hand. I was looking for molds like that myself!
julie c
AH HAAAA... so I would need to get some round molds of some kind. I might give it a try, just unmold and start rolling by hand. Thanks girls!!:highfive:
Sara
I love round soaps. I don't generally sell them, but they are my favorite. I have seen some beautiful soap balls, but they weren't mine. I don't have the knack for those.

Thanks girls!!:highfive:Julie - some folks here make beautiful soap balls, but the ones I've managed all have a bit of a "rustic" look. I want something pristine so I think I would need a mold for those.I'm willing to be that some here do a much more polished job than I can do and I hope the pipe up! Rebecca_IA
The soap balls are one of those things that practice makes perfect. When doing the final "rolling" in your hands, use the inner most part of your palm, where it's sorta rounded and take advantage of the roundness there, be careful to keep it there. And when done, carefully drop it onto wax paper and let it dry well.
julie c
I just have to try it today!! I've admired them too long. I think I'll do them scented in Sun kissed mango!!! Julie
jwahlton
Take a look at the one on my home page http://www.munkeystuff.com/I made those with a candle mold Personally I don't like the round ones that come out of the PVC mold. They are too difficult for me to hold
