Malystxy
Anyone here attempted to make an ice candle? Are they hard to do?
StephD
Okay, I'm an idiot! I had to google ice candles because I didn't know what they were! I have not tried those, but they look really cool! From the couple of articles I read, they are not supposed to be hard to make. I may have to try those out later. Steph
Vicky_CO
If you look in the archive you will see some that where made. They are really easy. Just make sure you start with a core candle and let them dry really well before lighting them.
Malystxy
A core candle?? Oops, LOl, I tried one without a core, I should post it, though burn time it a total laugh, maybe 3 hours, but they sure do look nice.
Vicky_CO
Yea you start with a candle that either you have aready made or one you buy, place it inside what ever you are using for a mold them put ice around that core candle and then pour your wax over that. You will find they burn much better and last a lot longer.
