partyowl7478@yahoo.com
I just purchased a candle making kit from Hobby Lobby today. It is a stand alone melter with one form and some wax. After looking at the methods on this site I am beginning to wonder if I just wasted my 35.00. Should I just stick with the double boiler/stove method. Do you suggest buying FO and things online and where/what would you suggest I start with. Any help is appreciated.

Raggedy Dani
I would get a candle kits from companies like BCN as posted above me. get yourself a presto pot from walmart which is 20 bucks to melt your wax.get yourself a scale to help weigh out oils and wax so forth.stay away from hobby lobby and micheal's wax stuff if you plan on seriously making candles and learning.u can get jars in canning depts in any stores...start with jelly container jar.HTHDaniPS..IF YOU CAN..TAKE THAT STUFF BACK TO THE STORE AND GET YOUR 35 BUCKS BACK.
