Ashlie K
Ok I am asking this question because I was talking to the owner of sunshine conainer and I received a box today in the mail that is for soap. Its one of those match boxes but bigger.I need to know what the standard size soap is so that the owner can make some and see if it sells on his site.thanks in advance
eugenia
OMG Ashlie, if they made these, I would be happy as a pig in you know what! These are the specs for standard soap boxes that other suppliers carry....Some use the leaf window, others oval. Please keep me posted on this 'cause Sunshine is right by me! Measurements, in inches (millimeters): 2-3/4 (69,9) long x 1-3/16 (30,1) wide x 3-13/16 (96,8) high (reverse-tuck flaps at 2-3/4 (69,9) x 1-3/16 (30,1) ends). View Window: Leaf-shaped cutout, with specially designed features: - Soft curves preclude breaks and cuts. - Designed for maximum viewing area... - ...while maximizing label area! Absolute Maximum Label Area: 2.25"Hey Ashlie, I gonna bring him a box, LOL.

CareBear
never thougth I'd say this, but the turnpike is actually entertaining when compared with the GSP! after all, on the turnpike you get to see the airport, Budweiser, all those trucks, the railroad tracks, and lots more swampland... eugenia
I did stop in to see the owner. I saw him outside. He asked if he could help me and I said "I brought you some soap." I swear he was waiting for me and invited me in.The matchbox style boxes are pretty small; my soap did not fit. I gave samples soap as well as the scent-works boxes and he is sure he can do those, cut out and all, for a competitive price. He can also do the matchbox style with a cutout. He mentioned that kraft and white were easy as that's what's on hand. I told him I thought they were the popular ones. He needs a couple of weeks to get these going. Thanks Ashlie for motivating me!
CareBear
E - you are so amazing. When you speak with him next you can mention we're lining up for them!
eugenia
I am going to see Jon, the owner tomorrow. He has samples for me. His pricing structure will be 14 cents each for 30, get 5 free, so that's 12 cents each. Scent-works charges 25 cents each for 50. You only get the 12 cent price break at 1,000 boxes.I will keep you all posted. This could be a very good thing. :smiley2:
